The Warrior...Part 4

Tom

I like the way you put in the human tendency to give up waiting on God and fall back into our old sinful ways. I think that is something almost every CHristian can relate to.

I have to admit, I looked at the size of the post and almost clicked away without reading it, but once I started it held my attention and I had to finish.

You did a great job. I was a little confused by the entry of Caleb, but hopefully you will clear that up in the next part.

Thanks, Tom.

I really struggled with the length...but I'm glad you persevered.

In my original outline, Part 4 included Dillon's first encounter with the Flesh AND a short follow-up conversation with Caleb. But since the Flesh-encounter took so much exposition, I decided to expand the follow-up with Caleb and add a chapter to the original outline. I left his appearance in Part 4 to give the total story a feeling of continuity. I've got Part 5 ready to go, so you'll probably be seeing that Monday or Tuesday.

[this is good]

There's something deliciously creepy about Dillon's own (fleshly) self turning up to tempt him, possessing all the seductive intelligence of a devil. To be honest, I hope we see more of him...

Really enjoyed this, Tim. Oh - the 'visual' impact of the white armour after beer 'n' Baywatch is very powerful. Bring on the next installment!

Deliciously creepy, huh? I was going for creepy, but the first draft even weirded me out...so I actually dialed-down the creepy. Dillon's Flesh is the chief antagonist in the rest of the story...so gear-up for some more delicious creepiness.

Excellente!
